How to Earn
Upon signing up to energyplus Argos, you'll receive your energyplus Argos card in the post - used to collect and access your cash contribution in store. You'll get 10 points for every £1 you spend on electricity and gas (excludes VAT and standing charge). Argos will automatically convert these points to cash every 3-6 months so if you've got your eye on anything particular at Argos or Homebase simply take your new card to the till when you make your purchase to get a cash contribution towards the total price. Accessing the Benefits
Once you have logged into the energyplus Argos site you can view a history of transactions you have made for your Argos or Homebase credit, which are transferred within 48 hours directly to your loyalty card or any merchandise.
Please note: The order history page only details those purchases you have made and not any issuances awarded directly from Scottish and Southern Energy.
To access current card balances please call 0345 6400881, with your card number to hand, and select option 2.
Purchasing Credit (Homebase & Argos)
If you are looking to take up the option of 10% discount on either Argos or Homebase credit, simply add the ‘Argos discount credit’ item to your shopping basket (located within the catalogue).
Treat the quantity as the amount of £1 you wish to purchase and complete the necessary ordering details, which are then retained for audit purposes.
Note: There is a rolling £500 limit you can top up on your card on a 3 month rolling basis.
For both Argos & Homebase credit the value purchased will be put onto your energyplus Argos card. Please allow 48 hours (Mon-Fri only, excluding bank holidays) for vouchers to be downloaded onto your energyplus Argos card.

Problems Logging In?
Logging in for the first time
On entering the energyplus Argos website, you need to type in the User ID, which is your 9 digit customer number detailed on all EnergyPlus Argos correspondance, and the password printed on the letter that came with your card in the post.
Your Password will start by being 'PASSWORD' – upper case - , we strongly recommend that you change this the first time you visit the website to make it more memorable and individual.
Changing your password
To change your password at any time you need to enter the ‘my account’ section of the site and click on the 'Change Password' button on the left hand side of the screen. The next screen will ask you to input your current password and then type a new password for your account to be set up with.
Forgotten your password?
If you have forgotten your password click on the 'Password Reminder' button on the left hand side of the screen. The next screen will ask you to input your user ID (your 9 digit customer number), and then answer the memorable question.
Note: The memorable question answer defaults to MOTHER – upper case – until you change within the my account section of the site.
The system will then allow you to select a new password for the account to be set up under.

Lost or stolen card
If you have lost you loyalty card and need a replacement call customer services on 0345 6400881 with your customer number (User ID) to hand and a replacement will be ordered and posted directly to you.
